Hope you had a blessed week and are looking forward to the weekend. As we navigate through this life, it's easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of our daily routines. We have work, family, social obligations, and so much more that can take up our time and energy. But have you ever stopped to consider what God's creational intent for us was?

Have you ever taken a moment to just stop and admire the beauty of nature around you? The way the sun rises and sets, the sound of birds chirping, the colours of flowers blooming. Even the intricate details of a flower or butterfly can show us how much God cares about the tiniest aspects of our lives. He pays attention to every detail, and His love for us is evident in every small thing He creates.  And when we see the vastness of the ocean or the grandeur of a mountain range, we are reminded of how small we are in comparison to God, yet how much He loves us and desires a personal relationship with each of us. All these things can leave us in awe of God's creation. But have you ever considered how nature speaks to us about God's love for us too? And how creation speaks of a creator who formed us for a purpose?

The Bible tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them. He created humanity in His own image and gave us dominion over the earth. However, sin entered the world, and with it, chaos, and destruction. It's easy to see how things can get off track for us as well.

But God's original plan for us was one of joy, peace, and purpose. He created us to be in relationship with Him, and to steward His creation. He gave us skills, passions, and talents that would help us to do so with excellence. He gave us desires to create, explore, and discover. His plan was for us to flourish in every area of our lives.

However, when we began to seek our own desires and goals above God's, we lost sight of this creational intent. But that doesn't mean we can't rediscover it. In fact, by seeking His will for our lives, we can live out the lives that God intended for us. We can use our gifts to serve others, our passions to glorify Him, and our lives to further His Kingdom.

As we enter the final weeks of this year, I encourage you to take a moment to consider how you can serve God and fulfill His creational intent for your life. Let's take hold of the abundant life that He has promised us and live in His perfect will.

Blessings to you all,
David Peñate
