I hope you’ve had a blessed week. As we embark on this brand-new chapter (Year 2024 that is), let us remember that we are a community devoted to growing and enriching our faith in God. Today, as you read this, I would like to invite you to join us in building a heart culture that is passionate—hungering for more of Him. Our journey together will be both encouraging and challenging, but most importantly, it will affirm our connection to the ever-present love of our Heavenly Father.

In the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to find ourselves distracted and distant from our relationship with God. This year, let us refocus our energy and dedicate more time to seeking Him. Remember, seeking God is not limited to church services alone; it means actively cultivating a hunger for His presence in our daily lives, in our workplaces, and in our homes. As we journey deeper into the heart of God, we will undoubtedly encounter obstacles along the way. But let us not be discouraged! Remember, every challenge we face can be an opportunity for growth. Growth in faith, in character, and in our understanding of God's immense love for us. Let us encourage one another to press on, knowing that our Heavenly Father is always near, ready to extend His grace to us.

This year, let us affirm our resolve to seek God more and more, not out of mere obligation, but out of love and reverence. The psalmist in Psalm 63:1 captures this longing perfectly, "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Let us adopt a similar hunger within our hearts, longing for the spiritual waters that only our Creator can provide. In building a heart culture and embracing our hunger for God, may we inspire one another through our actions, words, and prayers. Let us share our testimonies of the mighty works He has done in our lives and encourage those around us to seek His transformative power. Together, let us be witnesses of the amazing things that can happen when we actively pursue a deeper relationship with our Saviour.

Dear friend, our journey towards developing a heart culture and a hunger for God is not a solitary one. It is a shared endeavour filled with joy, support, and love. So, let us strengthen each other, challenge one another, and affirm the incredible blessings that come from seeking God with all our hearts.

May this year be marked by a renewed passion for God's presence and a hunger that only grows stronger with each passing day. As we embark on this new chapter, let us seek Him wholeheartedly as one family, united in our love and devotion to our Heavenly Father.

Blessings abundant,
David Peñate.
