"I Am With You and For You"
Happy Sabbath, church family,
One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is also one of the simplest: God is with you, and God is for you. It’s a promise spoken over His people again and again, especially in moments of fear, uncertainty, or weakness.
Paul captures this boldly in Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” This isn’t a statement of arrogance; it’s a declaration of confidence rooted in God’s character. The God who created the universe has chosen to stand with His people, not against them. His presence is not distant or conditional; it is constant, faithful, and fiercely protective.
Psalm 46 reminds us that God is not only for us, but with us in every storm. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Even when the earth shakes, when the waters roar, when life feels unstable or overwhelming, God remains our safe place. He doesn’t promise a life without trouble, but He promises His presence in the midst of it.
And when we feel the weight of impossibility, when circumstances seem too big, too broken, or too far gone Luke 1:37 speaks hope into our hearts: “For nothing will be impossible with God.” The same God who brought life to barren places, who fulfilled promises generations in the making, and who sent His Son into the world is still working today. His power is not limited by our weakness, and His plans are not hindered by our obstacles.
So whatever you’re facing this week, uncertainty, pressure, discouragement, or fear, remember this:
God is with you. God is for you. And nothing is impossible with Him.
Let this truth steady your heart, strengthen your steps, and fill you with hope. You are not walking alone. The God who stands with you is the God who goes before you.
Grace and Peace, Greg Campling
